Mikael Baza's development has been notably swift. Born on January 12, 2010, in Saint-Nazaire, France, he began his youth career at Hamburg-based FC Süderelbe in 2019. His ascent accelerated during the 2025-26 season. Baza made his debut for HSV's under-17 side in August 2025 and scored his first goal soon after. He followed that with a brace in September.
