Tractor FC Extends Lead in Iran Pro League

Tractor FC has strengthened its position at the top of the Iran Pro League, stretching its unbeaten start to six matches. The defending champions now hold a four-point lead over Esteghlal FC after a 1-0 win against Gol Gohar, secured by Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh's 43rd-minute goal, and a goalless draw with Shams Azar.

Esteghlal FC managed only two points from its two fixtures, drawing 1-1 with Persepolis and 0-0 with Aluminium Arak. Gol Gohar suffered a second defeat, losing 2-0 to Aluminium Arak earlier in the week. In other results, Peykan recovered from a 1-0 loss to Zob Ahan to beat Sanat Naft 2-0.

Kyrgyz Premier League Standings

FC Bars Issyk-Kul remains at the summit of the Kyrgyz Premier League despite a 3-1 loss to Talant FC. The titleholders responded with a 6-0 demolition of Alay Osh to stay two points clear of Ozgon.

Ozgon delivered a stunning 5-0 victory over former champions FC Abdysh-Ata, who are now on an 11-match winless run. The result was a comprehensive team effort, with five different players scoring.

Uzbekistan Super League Shake-Up

PFC Nasaf produced the result of the week across the region, halting a three-match losing streak by hammering current champions Neftchi Fergana 6-2. The-AFC.com reported that Bobur Abdikholikov scored twice in the emphatic victory, which featured goals from six different Nasaf players.

Defending champions Blue Star SC returned to winning ways in the Sri Lanka Super League, snapping a two-match losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Defenders FC. Mohamed Izaz scored both goals for Blue Star in the 30th and 56th minutes.

Second-placed Renown SC suffered a setback, falling 2-0 to Blue Eagles SC. New Young's SC edged Ratnam SC 3-2 in a high-scoring encounter, while Sea Hawks FC and Colombo FC drew 1-1.
